If you are like me, you have a hard time finding just the right activities, teachers, mentors, etc. for your children. Children each have unique personalities and do not all fall into categories of activities that the local school, YMCA, etc. may offer. We tried it with the eleven year old I mentioned earlier and it profiled him perfectly! I need to wait a few days to see exactly what mentors he is matched up with but the profiling was right on. The March newsletter for him did give us tips on things like the best way to teach him an instrument. It said to not purchase the most expensive of an instrument because he will most likely want to dabble in a variety of musical instruments and kids with these personalities will want to learn, not to copy another but to create their own music. It also said to set their instructional time for set periods so they don’t feel bored but inspired. I LOVE that! It describes his way of learning perfectly. He’s really smart and learns very quickly, becoming bored when lessons take a long period of time. I can’t believe how exact this profile was! I’m very excited to try this site out more and see what all it do.
